With such a unique art community, it is no surprise that artists can sometimes wait for years to join the ICB Building. The collaborative spirit of the artists within the building makes it a special place. Gordon Studer, an award-winning former commercial illustrator turned abstract painter, describes the ICB as “an incredible place with a supportive community, making it possible for artists to flourish.”

During Winter Open Studios, join designers and gallerists for the opportunity to stroll through three floors of studios all nestled under ICB’s iconic curved roof. With its exposed beams and spectacular views of the San Francisco Bay, the building is a historic landmark on Sausalito’s working waterfront. Well-known Bay Area designer Robert Federighi speaks for many when he states that “the impressive, wide-ranging selection of art at the ICB is the best resource I have ever found. It is my first stop when looking for myself or my clients.”
