Like the swallows of Capistrano, the delightful Musical Promenade by Echo Chamber Orchestra returns to San Anselmo First Presbyterian Church on June 1 at 6:30 p.m. Enjoy the intimacy of chamber music selections in the church gardens, then come inside for a full orchestra concert. Afterward, get to know the performers at the artist’s reception.
This year’s featured works include the sublime Baroque masterpiece, Elevazione by Domenico Zipoli; Ottorino Respighi’s “The Birds” (Gli uccelli); and Habanera, a Spanish-flavored work by the French composer Emmanuel Chabrier. Music Director Daniel Canosa will conduct.
The church is located at 72 Kensington Road, San Anselmo. Designated accessible parking is available. The sanctuary, Fireside room and restrooms are all wheelchair accessible.
