Caviar Masterclass

The Caviar Co. Tiburon Champagne and Caviar Lounge invites locals to learn more about caviar, taste and experience all the delicacy has to offer during their first Caviar Masterclass on March 14th at 6PM. Led by founder and Tiburon local, Petra Higby, and a rotation of food and wine experts, each Caviar Masterclass will offer intimate experiences where locals can dive into the world of caviar, expand their palates and treat themselves to luxurious pairings. During the Caviar Masterclass guests will taste a curated selection of 5 different caviars from around the world that showcase the range in flavor, texture, appearance (and price!) the delicacy has to offer. The evening will explore the world and history of caviar with Petra, who has spent over a decade in the industry. She’ll lead guests through a guided tasting touching on traditional and modern ways to taste caviar, the different types of sturgeon, fun facts, tips, and tricks, and answer questions along the way (think wine tasting, but with caviar!) Guests will also be treated to unique pairings including exclusive champagnes from Skurnik, an importer and distributor of the finest wines.
