Erasing the Finish Line: Helping Students Thrive in an Always on Digital World with Ana Homayoun

February 15 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Free

In this talk Ana will offer practical strategies on how to motivate today’s students to develop the foundational skills needed to design their own blueprints for success, including a system based on executive functions, connections rooted in authentic socialization, perspective expanded through immersive exposure and a sense of acceptance to strengths and opportunities for growth. She’ll offer insight on navigating parenting in the age of technology and how it all fits into the bigger picture of raising healthy, engaged young adolescents.

Ana is the author of four books, most recently “Erasing the Finish Line: The New Blueprint for Success Beyond Grades and College Admission” and is the founder of Silicon Valley based Green Ivy Educational Consulting and the executive director of Luminaria Learning Solutions, a non-profit initiative supporting executive functioning skill development in schools.

This event is for parents/guardians only and will be hosted on campus in Summit Hall. Please RSVP for the event. This talk is also open to the broader community, so spread the word to other community members!
