We’re excited to invite you to the official grand opening of NUSA, an Indonesian Bakery led by visionary chef Jennifer Huang, at The Public Market Emeryville in partnership with La Cocina. Join us for the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Wednesday, May 15 @11:00 am inside the food hall of The Public Market Emeryville.
NUSA’s opening marks an important milestone in The Public Market Emeryville’s ongoing partnership with La Cocina, the nonprofit food business incubator supporting women, immigrants, and people of color that has programmed its pop-up kiosk in the food hall since 2007. The partnership between The Public Market Emeryville and La Cocina underscores a shared commitment to nurturing culinary talent and fostering entrepreneurship within the food industry.
Attendees will experience the unveiling of the new NUSA kiosk at The Public Market Emeryville, and special appearances from NUSA’s Founder and Chef Jennifer Huang and her team; Mayor of Emeryville, Courtney Welch; and Consul General of Indonesia in San Francisco, Prasetyo Hadi
