Old Firehouse School Community Open House

Happy New Year! We’re excited to be embarking upon the beginning of our enrollment process for the 2017 school year. Our Reggio Emilia-Inspired curriculum is based on a solid foundation of scientific theory, research and professional practice in the field of child development. We believe that the “quality” of one’s childhood predicts much about the “quality” of one’s future. Therefore, our goal is to give each child in our care a childhood rich in the kinds of experiences and relationships which optimally prepare them for their life’s journey.

If you’d like to learn more about our curriculum or are interested in enrolling your child at Old Firehouse School, please join us for our informational Open House event on Wednesday, January 11 from 6:30-8 p.m.

Old Firehouse School Open Houses are for adults only (babies-in-arms are just fine) and traditionally last between 1-1.5 hours.  Our open houses afford you the opportunity to learn about our philosophy, see examples of our Reggio Emilia-inspired curriculum, and give you the chance to chat one-on-one with our exceptional teachers and staff. We also provide tours of each classroom, concluding with tasty refreshments.

Applications will be available at the end of the Open House. We will be enrolling for all of our classrooms but will have limited spaces in certain age groups because of returning families. We accept children ages 2-5 years old and may be able to offer a Developmental Kindergarten Program, depending on applications and need.

For additional information or to learn more about our wonderful school, please visit our website at oldfirehouseschool.com.

Please provide us with an RSVP if you are planning to attend.  Hope to see you there!
