Fictions #5, 2014

The Headlands Center for the Arts is hosting their annual Winter Exhibition showcasing the work of 18 artists. The show will be guest curated by Kevin B. Chen, who has been involved in the Bay Area arts scene for over two decades as a curator, writer and visual artist. You can meet the curator and participating artists and an opening reception held on Sunday, January 18.

The exhibit will include photographs, sculptures and video installations. While the works do not directly pay homage to the military history of the Headlands, the works are situated in that same environment. The exhibition theme is designed to illuminate the difference between what we physically see, and what actually exists.
