Join our “Home Team” summer campaign to fund Play Marin’s Sustainers Club, which will ensure continuing access to athletic and adventure programs for the kids of Marin City.
Our tip-off will be a fun “Play Date” in Sausalito — the Player’s Night on Saturday, April 29 from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Who?
Since 2012, Paul Austin’s Play Marin has been closing the activity gap for the young people of Marin City by providing previously out of reach access to sports, athletic programs and other enriching activities, while also creating opportunities for Marin youth from all backgrounds to learn and grow together through play with a more diverse peer group.
Marin Magazine is partnering with Play Marin, and would like to invite community organizations and individuals to help get the word out about this campaign, and make it happen!
What?
The sustainer’s club will ensure Play Marin can continue leveling the playing field by providing equitable access to athletic and adventure opportunities for Marin City youth, and to further promote inclusion for all of Marin’s young people by creating opportunities for children of diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds to learn and grow together through play.
Why Give?
Because it works! Here are some examples of kids who have taken part in the program.
