Calistoga’s 27th Annual Lighted Tractor Parade

Nothing celebrates the little town of Calistoga’s down home agricultural roots like its annual tractor parade. Always the first Saturday in December, the parade sponsored by the Calistoga Chamber of Commerce features some 50 tractors and other vehicles decked out in thousands of glittering lights and their holiday best. The tiny town of 5,000 at the top of the Napa Valley welcomes between 10,000 to 12,000 visitors each year for the parade down Calistoga’s main street and Celebrate! Napa Valley’s Holiday Village and Christmas Faire held on December 1 and 2 in nearby Pioneer Park. Last year the parade was selected as one of the Top 10 Holiday Parades by USA Today readers. The parade runs down Calistoga’s Lincoln Avenue on Saturday, December 2 from 7pm to 8pm, rain or shine.
