Marin Ballet’s “Beautiful Earth” Dance Camp

Marin Ballet is offering a new way for children, ages 3 through 8, to learn about our beautiful earth. Each day, children will discover a different aspect of our world – ocean, garden, forest, jungle and sky through integrated creative movement, visual arts, stories, and imaginative play. Marin Ballet teachers will start the day with dance instruction, followed by a themed-art project, creative activities, and games. The camp is a great way for children to start to learn about sustainability, as well as how to express themselves through the arts.
Students will be grouped by age for instruction by Marin Ballet’s experienced and nurturing teachers. Nutritious snacks are provided, and older students may bring lunch.
Camp runs Mon-Fri, June 17 -21 at Marin Ballet’s spacious campus at 100 Elm Street in San Rafael. Camp hours are 9am to noon for ages 3-4, with a fee of $375. Camp runs 9am to 1pm for children 5 – 8, with a fee of $590. Parents may register at www.marinballet.org/summer Tuition scholarships are available.
