Rykarda Parasol and her band are pleased to announce their first show ever in Marin County.
Parasol describes her music as rooted in classic sounds of both pop and rock including psychedelic, Motown, murder ballad, folk, with a touch of French 60s pop. (RIYL the Velvet Underground, Serge Gainsbourg, Patti Smith, Jacques Dutronc, and Lana Del Rey among others).
Parasol is originally from San Francisco where she started her musical endeavors and was a fixture on the San Francisco scene, then later focused on Europe where while toggling between living in Paris and Warsaw. Now back in the Bay Area, she and her live band are really pleased to share their sound with old and new fans alike. Her live band includes both her longtime bassist and engineering-mixing guru Mark Pistel and drummer Danny Luehring. As well as Roger Rocha on guitar and Michael Shaw on keys.
