The Marin Valentine’s Ball, a long standing favorite fundraiser since its founding in 1996, was held on February 10 at the San Rafael Civic Center. The annual event benefits not one, but three Marin nonprofits—Side by Side, the North Bay Children’s Center, and the Godmothers of Catholic Charities St. Vincent’s School for Boys.

The three beneficiary nonprofits of the 2024 Marin Valentine’s Ball collectively help ensure that all Marin youth have a chance to thrive, regardless of their circumstances in life. Side by Side offers services to vulnerable youth living in Marin and several other counties that includes mental and behavioral health counseling, early school intervention and transitional housing. The North Bay Children’s Center offers high quality early care and early education to Marin’s youngest populations and their families. The Godmothers of Catholic Charities St. Vincent’s School for Boys actively fundraise for and volunteer at St. Vincent’s school to help provide a safe, nurturing environment where traumatized boys can build self-esteem, improve social skills, and renew trust.
