Buyer and Cellar at SF's Curran Theatre

Catch the new comedy Buyer and Cellar at San Francisco's Curran Theatre before August 31.

Starring Ugly Betty’s Michael Urie as the play’s sole actor Alex Moore, playwright Jonahtan Tolins and Director Stephen Brackett have created a 100-minute tour-de-force fictional play about an unemployed actor working in the basement of Barbra Streisand’s home. The one-man show has Alex Moore acting as a clerk at an underground mall with “shops” stocked with Ms. Streisand’s collections. And only she shops there.

The show, an off-Broadway comedy hit which debuted in April 2013, is now in the midst of a mini North American tour. It is a Top Critics pick from New York Times, Time Out NY, Entertainment Weekly and NY Magazine.

“There is much to laugh about in "Buyer & Cellar,"…the story's inventive, the one-liners come fast and furious, and the performance of star Michael Urie was perfect.” –– sfchronicle.com
