June 1-30 Sausalito Pride

Sausalito, which has long been considered a gay-friendly community, hosts its second monthlong Pride Celebration. Festivities will include an opening night event and plenty of music, art and fun with the Sausalito Center for the Arts. Sausalito Pride is led by the organization’s ambassadors Wayne Kaleck and Michael Rose from Gene Hiller Menswear, and all 2023 events were spearheaded by a diverse team of volunteers in partnership with The Spahr Center, Marin County’s only LGBTQ+ nonprofit. June 19 Savoring the Summer Solstice with Marin Community Clinics

Marin Community Clinics, which provides medical, dental, and behavioral health services to Marin’s underserved population, hosts its annual Summer Solstice Celebration. Elected officials, community health ambassadors, and hundreds of engaged supporters of equitable health care in Marin join together to recognize honorees and raise funds to benefit the organization’s mission. June 24 Bank of Marin’s Golf Tournament Benefitting Side by Side

Side by Side’s annual golf tournament, presented by Bank of Marin, provides financial support for the organization’s behavioral and mental health services throughout the Bay Area. Featuring 18 holes of golf, at-hole games of chance, food and cocktail reception, this event generates donations through a live auction and fund-a-need paddle raise. Photos by Mimi Towle.

Vivalon teams up with the Multicultural Center of Marin to host an intergenerational outings in Marin nature. Last year’s walk included a guided nature walk led in Spanish by Marco Berger from the Multicultural Center of Marin, followed by a picnic lunch overlooking San Pablo Bay.
