World renowned physicians from the Pacific Pediatric Neuro-Oncology Consortium (PNOC) will join patient families, biotech leaders and other supporters for the PNOC Gratitude Gala. Nov 28, 2024 Marin Turkey Trot

Run off your turkey dinner in advance on Thanksgiving Day at the Marin Turkey Trot, which winds along Novato’s Ignacio Blvd before finishing at College of Marin’s Indian Valley campus. Race proceeds benefit School Fuel, Novato’s education foundation.

The Agricultural Institute of Marin again hosts its Gather for the Planet fundraiser to enhance regional food systems. Guests can expect a farm-forward tasting menu based on recipes curated by several Bay Area notable chefs. Through its nine Bay Area farmers markets and other community programs, the nonprofit has supported more than 350 farmers and locally produced food for over 40 years. Nov 14, 2024 Gift of Vision

Save Sight Now — a Marin nonprofit with a mission to find treatment or a cure for Usher syndrome type 1B, a condition that has affected hundreds of children worldwide — hosts an annual gala to raise funds for medical research to combat the impact of the syndrome. The nonprofit’s fifth annual gala will be held in the Cascade Room at the Mill Valley Community Center.
