Where: The Ondine Room at the Trident in Sausalito
What: The women of Marin Magazine and about 125 local women business owners, CEOs and philanthropists came together as the movers and shakers of Marin County to “Celebrate Women” in the first of what is planned to become an annual event. The event was held upstairs at the waterfront Trident restaurant in the Ondine room with lovely views of the San Francisco skyline and Angel Island. Guests enjoyed appetizers and cocktails while listening to the acoustic guitar music of Stevan Pasero.
The highlight of the evening was the introduction of Susan Noyes, the new owner of Marin Magazine, who gave a short talk about women and social impact, as well as an introduction to her Chicago-based company Make It Better Media. Make it Better Media Group is a trusted, vibrant website and community resource, with tips, trends, articles and to amplify social impact and help readers make the most of every dollar and hour they invest in their lives, families and communities. Noyes also introduced the Bay Area Better Letter, a Make It Better weekly newsletter filled with stories relevant to the Bay Area.
