Have you ever read a passage in a book and imagined a picture of it it in your mind? The Marin Society of Artists (MSA) hosts a unique art show this month, “Inspired Words and Poetry”.
The event is a non-juried member show featuring artwork inspired by words and poems, and both the inspiration piece and the artwork will be displayed together.
The show kicks off January 8 and runs until January 24, and is open from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. There is a free reception at the MSA gallery on January 11 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Join in the spirit of the event by sharing a poem at the open mic poetry readings, starting at 3:15 p.m.
