An enduring tradition since its inception in 1998, the annual Mill Valley Block Party serves as a testament to the tight-knit community’s commitment to art education. With proceeds dedicated to supporting Kiddo! and local school art education programs, this celebration has thrived for over two decades.
“The Store, Margaret O’Leary, Famous4, Surf & Sand, Carolina, Attire and Tyse are some of the stores that are a part of celebration this year,” says event organizer Larry “the Hat” Lautzker. “Aviator Nation will also be joining us as a vendor, along with SWAAY, a special new local designer.”
Bassist Angeline Saris is bringing her “Celebration of Women in Music” to to the streets with an incredible lineup of musicians including:

In previous years, crowds have swelled to nearly 900 and another robust turnout is expected this October. “Mill Valley is my home,” says Lautzker. “I’ve been blessed to live an incredible life here. Bringing folks together for this and all the other events in town I get to be a part of — whether it’s the Memorial Day Parade, The Milley Awards or comedy shows I’ve produced — my intention has always been to make a difference.” Come see what the buzz is all about on October 1.
