With the sale of the family business, BMW of San Francisco, Eric Schmitt faced a career dilemma.
He’d quickly risen through the ranks at BMW of San Francisco to become Executive Vice President of the company his family owned and operated for 3 generations and nearly 60 years. And, he’s still passionate about the car business and the Ultimate Driving Machine (a BMW X7 is the primary family vehicle). But… using the skills he’d gained at another BMW dealership would probably mean re-locating his young family from Marin.
That was a problem.
Born and raised in San Anselmo, Eric graduated from Marin Catholic, double majored in Business and Marketing at The University of San Diego (where he played on Jim Harbaugh’s 2005 Mid-Major National Championship team) and is now settled in Larkspur with his wife Kim (his high school sweetheart). The couple has purchased and renovated multiple homes in Marin. And, they now have two daughters who fill their home in downtown Larkspur with love and joy. They are invested in Marin, including as a partner in Sam’s Anchor Cafe in Tiburon and most importantly, their girls’ grandparents are also set in Marin.
The family wasn’t going anywhere. So… what to do?!
Given his love of Marin, the choice quickly became obvious and Eric Schmitt has now turned his professional eye to his other true love (besides his family, of course): Marin County Real Estate. Specifically, as a Coldwell Banker residential broker.
With his extensive experience in luxury level customer service, project management, commercial and residential real estate investing and passion for ultimate performance, Eric views properties through multiple lenses. This trait, combined with all the resources of Coldwell Banker, help Eric expertly guide clients through the process and point out factors often overlooked in the emotion of the home buying and selling experience. The result: minimum stress, maximum value and the Ultimate Home Buying or Selling Experience for his clients.
